The White Stripes Release Two New Covers


The White Stripes may have officially broken up, but the duo is still releasing new music. Thanks to the Third Man Records vault, you can now hear two previously unreleased cover songs from Jack and Meg White. Though it's not original material, the band puts its own spin on Love's Signed D.C. and Otis Redding's I've Been Loving You Too Long.

These slow and scuzzy takes were recently sent out to platinum members of White's Third Man Vault record club. The White Stripes originally recorded both songs in 1997.
