The Kills 'The Future Starts Slow' Video

Future Starts Slow is the second single to be released from The Kills fourth studio album Blood Pressures. Directed by Philip Andelman, the video follows the band on their travels around album release time earlier this year.

Director Philip Andelman's video for the Kills' Blood Pressures track "Future Starts Slow" works as a sort of tour travelogue for the feral blues-rock duo. There's plenty of onstage footage in the clip, but we also see images of the band between shows: At airport carousels, on the "Conan" set, in empty restaurants, in (separate) hotel beds. The whole thing avoids much of the handheld amateurism of so many videos like this; the rigors of international travel have rarely been so crisply photographed. (pitchfork.com)

Future Starts Slow will be released as a single backed by B-side Blue Moon digitally on June 28 and physically July 19 via Domino.
