Steel Panther Rock The House Of Commons

LA rockers, Steel Panther, visited The House Of Commons on their recent UK tour in support of Rock The House.

Rock The House is a Parliamentary live music competition that supports the UK live music industry and attempts to promote the importance of Intellectual Property rights.

The competition sees MPs nominate the best live musicians and music venue from their constituencies, and this year will be inviting live music venues, solo artists, bands and under-18s to write to their MPs and enter themselves into Rock The House 2012.

The 'judges' consist of a panel of international music industry experts and musicians who will decide on the finalists competing in a live battle of the bands! The winners in each artist’s category will play a live set on the Terrace of the House of Commons in the evening at the finale reception. Winners will also win prizes including top of the range gear and the chance to play at some of the UK’s most prestigious festivals.
