Marilyn Manson To Play One-Off London Show

Marilyn Manson will play a special one-off show at London's O2 Academy Brixton on July 5th.

Manson was due to play at Sonisphere Festival at knebworth Park this July, but the event was cancelled last month. The shock-rocker is also set to release his latest album, Born Villain on the 30th of April, and is hoping to "challenge people" with the release.

“If everything is happy, then who gives a shit, or if it's just a straight line, I won't give a shit either. If it's down, which is sometimes where I was more often than up, it's not inspiring. So I just wanted to make something that would make people feel something.

Born Villain follows Manson's 2009 effort The High End Of Low, which was his band's last on Interscope Records. They have since signed a new deal with Cooking Vinyl, who will put out the new album. A cover of You're So Vain, which features Johnny Depp playing drums and lead guitar as well as the actor's nine-year old son Sam, will be the album's bonus track.

The lead track from the album, No Reflection, along with it's controversial video, will be released on limited edition white vinyl on April 21st as part of Record Store Day. Tickets for Manson's Brixton show are on sale from today (April 12th).
