Jack White Debuts Live Solo Career On SNL

Jack White launched his live solo career on long-running US sketch show, Saturday Night Live, on March the 3rd.

The former White Stripes lead man performed two tracks from his debut solo album, Blunderbuss, which is due for release on April the 23rd. The first track White played was his debut solo single, Love Interruption, and the previously unheard, Sixteen Saltines

Sixteen Saltines is a heavier rock song, similar to that of The White Stripes, and saw White give a rather energetic performance. The appearance on SNL is to coincide with his forthcoming solo live shows which are set to take place at the end of the month in America. He'll also be returning to the UK this summer and is scheduled to play at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend on June the 23rd-24th, among other artists such as Lana Del Ray and The Maccabees.
