Anticipated now for almost three years, Love This Giant — the collaborative album recorded by former Talking Heads frontman David Byrne and singer-songwriter/guitar ace Annie Clark, (aka St. Vincent) — will be released in September. Straight after, the two musicians will embark on a 25-date autumn North American tour.
The 12-track album is set for release on September 10th via 4AD in the UK, and is said to feature 10 songs that Clark and Byrne wrote and performed together plus one individually written song from each musician. A preview with a free download of album opener Who, is available by the project's website - lovethisgiant.com.
The duo's live set apprently "centers around an explosive brass band and is propelled by John Congleton’s drum programming." Byrne/Clark hit the road beginning September 15th in Minneapolis, running through to October 20th in Vancouver, but sadly no details of UK/European dates as yet.

Of the tour, Byrne and Clark say:
"We’ll be doing these songs and a bunch of songs that we suspect people will know, with a group that includes eight brass players, a keyboardist and a drummer. There was no delineating what the roles were. It’s a collaboration [we're] truly proud of."
