Ray Davies is set to bring his songbook of classic British hits from his days in The Kinks through to recent solo repertoire with an appearance at the Hop Farm Festival and a tour later this year.
Meanwhile, a collection of Kinks sessions, live recordings and previously unreleased material is set for release on the 13th of August via Universal, and will be titled The Kinks At The BBC. The collection features 5 CDs and a DVD book package with liner notes by Peter Doggett and Doug Hinman and is the definitive guide to this landmark musical institution.
Ray Davies' band includes Bill Shanley - guitars, Dick Nolan - bass, Ian Gibbons - keyboards (ex member of The Kinks) and Damon Wilson on drums. Davies and his band will play:
