Tenacious D have announced three UK shows for this summer.
The duo, actor Jack Black and comedian Kyle Gass, are set to release their new album, Rize Of The Fenix, on May the 15th and in support of this, they will play three dates in the UK over June. Some of the dates include London's O2 Academy Brixton on the 5th and 6th and Manchester Academy on the 10th
Also in June, Tenacious D are scheduled to play this summer's Download Festival, on a bill that's headlined by The Prodigy, Metallica and a reunited Black Sabbath. The festival takes place over the weekend of June 8-10 at Donington Park, with the duo performing on June the 9th.
Rize Of The Fenix is the follow-up to 2006's The Pick of Destiny and 2001's self-titled debut. The album, once again, features drums from Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl. Tickets go on sale this Friday (March 9th) at 9am (GMT).
