Bruce Springsteen is streaming his brand new album, Wrecking Ball, online.
The album was released yesterday (March 5th) and follows 2009's Working On A Dream and 2010's outtakes collection, The Promise. Springsteen recently held a press conference in Paris to explain the inspiration and meaning behind the album; the economic troubles in the U.S.:
"What was done to our country was wrong and unpatriotic and un-American and nobody has been held to account. There is a real patriotism underneath the best of my music but it is a critical, questioning and often angry patriotism. I have spent my life judging the distance between American reality and the American dream."
Springsteen is also set to deliver the keynote speech at this year's South By South West on March the 15th in Austin, Texas and he'll be performing a small show, too. He will then kick off his US tour three days later in Atlanta. The summer will see Springsteen visiting the UK, beginning at Sunderland Stadium of Light on June 21 before moving on to Manchester Etihad Stadium (22), Isle Of Wight Festival (24th) and London Hard Rock Calling (July 14th).
