Compiled by Billboard, the list of artist rankings are based on US income sources from tours, album sales and publishing royalties. However, Billboard have said that they didn't account for other factors such as sponsorships, merchandise sales or synchronisation deals.
Young country star, Taylor Swift, is at number one in the list with earnings in excess of $35 million (£22.3 million!). U2 rank at number 2 with a whopping $32.116 million, while Bon Jovi come in at number 7 with $19.813 million.
Other Classic Rock artists to make the list are Journey, Bob Segar & The Silver Bullet Band and Foo Fighters. You can see the full list here.
