Following a superb performance at the Glastonbury Festival last year, Jamaican legend Jimmy Cliff is scheduled to return to the UK playing London's indigO2 on May 18th and the Birmingham Ballroom on May 20th as part of a larger, worldwide tour in 2012.
The incredibly talented singer, songwriter, musician and actor, will be performing all of his greatest hits including You Can Get It If You Really Want, The Harder they Come and Many Rivers To Cross, all tracks from the cult classic movie (The Harder They Come) in which Cliff starred back in 1972. The shows precede the release of his much-anticipated new album RE.BIRTH which is set for release this summer.
A short trailer for the upcoming LP has been posted online, showing Cliff teaming up with producer Tim Armstrong - the Rancid frontman who has cited Cliff as his most admired artist.
